Welcome to Interviews With Interesting People. Thanks for visiting.
My name is Ross Glacken. I’m an Irish writer with a great deal of curiosity about the world and life. So, it seemed a natural progression to create Interviews With Interesting People as a labor of love.
Since I was young, I have been a person who continuously asks “why?”. And as the years roll past, instead of finding myself with greater clarity and less questions, I’ve found myself with less clarity and more questions. But that’s a good thing. There’s so much to be fascinated by in a single lifetime. And so, Interviews With Interesting People was born, to learn directly from the experts themselves and to satisfy my hunger for greater knowledge and understanding of what I find intriguing and puzzling.
I love interviewing people who are at the forefront of their fields, no matter how obscure. There is a great pleasure to be had from speaking with someone who is thoroughly engrossed in his or her work and even better if he/she has a palpable enthusiasm for it too. It’s a joy to share in the contagious wonder, excitement and splendor of a genuinely interesting person.
Sometimes I touch on the scientific, other times on the arts. Occasionally I tackle sports, other times academics. When one curiosity is muted, another always speaks.
I hope you will enjoy reading the interviews, and all the better if you learn something interesting as well. Personally, it’s a real treat for me to be able to dive into the lives and works of others, and to be able to share them with other curious minds such as yours.
Feedback, suggestions, or even just a friendly hello are always welcomed here. So, please feel free to drop me a line through my contact page any time.
Thanks for checking out the site, and may we all never stop asking that most wondrous question of all: “why?”
Yours, always curiously,
